Ivy Koh Wins AWiCS-SIA Woman Architect of the Year 2025
10 October 2025
Congratulations to Ivy Koh — AWiCS–SIA Woman Architect of the Year!
Presented by the Association of Women in Construction (AWiCS) in collaboration with the Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA), this prestigious award recognises women who exemplify leadership, innovation, sustainability, and impactful contributions to the built environment.
At the awards dinner on 7 October, which celebrated women shaping the future of our industry, Ivy was honoured for her creativity, technical excellence, and leadership in advancing sustainable and inclusive architecture.
As the Executive Director for Architecture + Design, as well as the Service Line and Architecture Lead for Singapore and SAA Architects, she brings nearly two decades of experience to the role. A seasoned architect, she has led a wide portfolio of successful projects, particularly in high-rise residential and mixed-use developments across Singapore.
Among her notable achievements, Ivy spearheaded the SJ Campus in collaboration with Safdie Architects — a recipient of the President’s Design Award 2025: Design of the Year. She also led the Temasek Shophouse project, which earned the URA Conservation Heritage Award in 2019 and was a President’s Design Award finalist in 2021.
Beyond practice, Ivy serves as Honorary Secretary of the Singapore Institute of Architects and mentors aspiring architects as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Singapore University of Technology and Design.
Congratulations once again to Ivy on this well-deserved recognition — a testament to her vision, impact, and commitment to shaping a more inclusive and forward-looking built environment.
