Located in the heart of Sembawang, EastLink I and II @ Canberra is sited across the road from the upcoming Canberra MRT station, along Canberra Link, the development’s namesake. In addition, a series of elevated linkways connects Eastlink I (comprising of six residential blocks ranging from 11 to 12 storeys) to Eastlink II (comprising of five 11-storey residential blocks), embedding a network of pedestrian connectivity between the 2 estates and connecting residents to amenities such as the neighbourhood centre, communal plaza and precinct markers.
The development includes a 3-storey neighbourhood centre – Canberra Plaza, that integrates childcare and eldercare with spaces and activity nodes for all age groups, creating vibrancy in a new neighbourhood as a family centric development. With its distinctive undulating bands inspired by flowing rivers, it serves as a landmark to the new Sembawang neighbourhood. The bands meander through the residential estate, weaving together activities, landscape spaces and playgrounds, celebrating community life.
