Northpoint City wins Silver at CREDAWARD 2023

We are proud to announce that Northpoint City has won Silver in the Comprehensive Commercial Project category at the prestigious China Real Estate & Design Award (CREDAWARD) 2023.

Held annually, CREDAWARD was initiated in 2014 by DJSER (地建师), an architectural collective in China’s real estate and urban development industry. The award evaluates global projects against a high standard of architectural aesthetics, environment protection, user experience, and economic benefits. This year’s CREDAWARD attracted 853 project submissions from world-renowned design firms and developers from 17 countries and regions.

Northpoint City was designed by SAA as a Transit-Oriented Development that would improve connectivity to surrounding areas and transport nodes. The goals were to enhance existing businesses, facilitate community activities, and promote a communal spirit for the Yishun neighbourhood. This awar given by a highly regarded jury panel of industry peers that include architects and developers, is recognition of SAA’s commitment towards creating architecture which responds to today’s urban needs, and which makes an impact to tomorrow’s cities and built environment.

SAA’s Deputy CEO Michael Leong and Director Benson Wee received the prize at the CREDAward gala dinner in Shanghai on Saturday, 8 July 2023.
